Metro Transit Plans RapidRide F Line Open House Meetings

King County Metro Transit announced open house meetings Nov. 27 and 29 in Renton to discuss possible 2013 bus service changes.

This time next year the RapidRide F Line will zip through Renton, connecting the city to Tukwila, SeaTac and Burien.

King County Metro Transit is moving forward with plans to launch the RapidRide F Line by September 2013 and wants to hear input from you, the transit customers.

The new F Line will replace Route 140 with more frequent service seven days a week. King County Metro may also change other bus routes in Renton following the launch of the F Line, so now is the time to comment on the routes you depend on most.

Routes with possible changes include routes 105, 110, 155, 908 and 909, according to a statement from King County Metro.

"Reorganizing some routes allows Metro to reduce duplication and invest transit resources in areas with higher ridership demand and higher potential for ridership growth," officials wrote.
