Mega Millions Jackpot Third Highest Ever, Tempted?

Nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot Friday night, causing it to roll over and increase to $363 million for Tuesday's drawing, did you buy tickets?

The Washington State Lottery Commission sent out a media alert Monday that people were lining up to buy tickets for Tuesday's drawing in the hopes of winning the $363 million jackpot.

“There is always excitement about big jackpots over $300 million, so we are encouraging people to buy their tickets early,” said Lottery Director Bill Hanson in the press release.

Since 1982, Washington’s Lottery has generated more than $2.5 billion to support important state programs including the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account. Money in the Pathways Account goes toward helping students achieve their higher education dreams and supports early childhood education learning programs, according to lottery officials.
