UPDATED: Medical Examiner Identifies Body As Missing 31-Year-Old Renton Man

Police still seeking information about Duong's whereabouts on Feb. 4, 2012.

The King County Medical Examiner identified the body found earlier this week in Renton’s Kennydale neighborhood as 31-year-old Ratchinn Duong.

The Medical Examiner reported that Duong died of self-inflicted wounds.

"The injuries he suffered were consistent with suicide," said Detective Robert Onishi with the Renton Police Department.

Police also found a wooden-handled, kitchen-style knife at the scene.

Duong's family reported that he'd recently experienced mental health issues.

Renton Police Detectives and a King County Search and Rescue Team located the body on Feb. 7 at approximately 2:30 p.m. in a wooded area near Exit 7 off Interstate 405.

It was close to the area where an abandoned carβ€”β€”was found earlier this month.

The Renton Police Department continues to seek more information from anyone who may have seen Duong on Feb. 4, the last day he was seen alive.
