May Day and Occupy gathering-turned-protests roiled Seattle on Tuesday. Tell us what you think.

With the May Day gatherings and protests square in the public eye Tuesday, some, including Seattle's police chief, blame a small squad of anarchists for disrupting what had been billed as a peaceful day to honor workers.

May Day started quiet but that peace didn't last long, according to the seattlepi.com.

KING 5 posted videos of the action, which included one of its cameramen being injured by an anarchist.

The Seattle Police Department reported on its blotter that it had made multiple arrests, and had seized "homemade incendiary devices and bags of feces."

By mid-afternoon, Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn had signed an executive order letting police confiscate items used to vandalize property, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported. To see some of that damage, check out coverage from the Seattle Times, which mapped photos of the damage downtown.
