K-9 Dash A Treat For 2 & 4-Legged Runners, Walkers

More than 250 walkers and runner participated in this year’s K-9 Candy Cane 5K Dash along the Cedar River Trail in Renton.

Most participants brought their dogs to join in on the fun.  This event kicked off at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, starting at the Renton Community Center before heading out on the Cedar River trail.  The run finished at the Community Center with water and treats for dogs and their owners.  The K-9 Candy Cane dash featured a pet food drive and prizes for the top finishers in the mens and womens divisions and dogs with owners divisions.
