Help Shape The Future Of Benson Hill

A community planning workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 6-8 p.m. in the Renton Park Elementary School Cafeteria, 16828 128th Ave SE, Renton.

The City of Renton is starting the process to develop a community plan and shared vision for the future of the Benson Area. The community has many assets, including local parks and strong neighborhood groups, in addition to areas annexed in, including Cascade, Renton Park, Spring Glen, Huntington Heights, Vantage Glen, Woodbury Heights, Chinquapin Ridge, and Benson.

Community members are invited to share their ideas and provide input — what you like about the community, what should stay the same, what should change and improve, and more.

At the meeting, City of Renton staff will provide information on the projects the city has been working on, identify potential “quick win” projects, and provide information on the purpose of neighborhood plans. Participants will have the opportunity to share their ideas for shaping the future of the area at a community planning workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 6-8 p.m. in the Renton Park Elementary School Cafeteria, 16828 128th Ave SE, Renton.
