Flood Watch To Replace Winter Warning On Friday

Higher temperatures and rain in the forecast could lead to minor flooding. King County Road Crews continue to clear the road of snow and debris.

Get ready for a balmy 45-degree day. That’s 15 degrees warmer than Thursday’s high of 30.

A flood watch will replace Thursday's and the winter weather advisory that is set to expire at 10 a.m.

Forecasts call for possible flooding as the area warms, thawing nearly a week’s worth of snow and ice accumulations.

King County road crews will be out in force for the seventh straight day.

“Despite predictions for improving weather, roads all across the county remain extremely hazardous,” warns the King County Department of Transportation.

The department estimates that snow and tree removal may take up to two days. Click here to check current King County road condition

  • SE 216th St. between 234th Ave SE and 244th Ave SE, Maple Valley (trees down)
