County Proposes Transfer Of Golf Course Easement To Cedar River Water & Sewer District

King County Council to Hold Public Hearing on ordinance authorizing transfer and assignment of an easement from King County to the Cedar River Water and Sewer District on Jan. 9 at 1:30 p.m.

The Metropolitan King County Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 9, 2012 to take testimony on a proposed ordinance authorizing the County to transfer and assign an easement located at , in the Fairwood neighborhood of Renton, Wash. to the Cedar River Water and Sewer District.


The public hearing on the proposal to transfer will be held before the full council at the King County Courthouse, Room 1001 on Monday, January 9, 2012, at 1:30 p.m.  

King County Wastewater Treatment Division acquired a utility easement from the Fairwood Golf and Country Club to allow the County to construct a wastewater pipeline, together with connections, manholes and appurtenances, as part of the Fairwood Interceptor Project. Now that the Project is completed, applicable agreements require King County to transfer and assign the easement to the Cedar River Water and Sewer District.
