Council, County Present Future Plans For Cedar River

King County and the Cedar River Council will co-host an Open House meeting about the future management of the river on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 6-8:30 p.m.

The Cedar River is home to plants and animals, a recreation area for Washington state residents and a source of worry for those who live in the flood plane.

King County and the Cedar River Council will co-host an Open House meeting about the future management of the river on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 6-8:30 p.m.

Mark Isaacson, Director of the King County Water and Land Resource Division, will present short and long-term goals for the Cedar River, and upcoming plans to improve safety and sustainability of the river. Project managers for several upcoming Cedar River improvement projects will also attend the meeting and be available to answer questions. Come and learn more about how King County is working to:
