Chamber Of Commerce Makes Candidate Endorsements

In a rare move, the Chamber chose this year to endorse political candidates.

The rarely endorses candidates for election to local offices and only supports or opposes initiatives based upon their potential impact to Chamber members and the Renton business community. Your Legislative Committee is charged with the responsibility of analyzing each election and making recommendations to the Board of Directors on what action, if any, is appropriate for that election cycle.

This is a critical time for Chamber members, the City, the economy and for the continuation of the recovery from the worst recession in memory. This election year your Chamber Board of Directors felt a responsibility to take positions that will be the most beneficial to members by expressing support for those candidates and positions on initiatives that are in the best collective interest of the Renton Chamber of Commerce membership. We encourage you VOTE and when you do, consider supporting the positions taken by your Board of Directors.
