What is the primary reason you are running for this office?     

To promote the needs of people in our own area so they have access to affordable and excellent health care. 

 

What will your top three priorities be if you get elected and why?       

1. Ensure the alliance with UW Medicine works to the benefit of Valley Medical Center and our communities. 

2. Rebuilding the reputation of the administration at Valley Medical Center. 

3. Provide leadership on the new board toward the goal of better teamwork, so the actual elected members take a more active role in the management of our hospital system. We no longer want to have unelected bureaucrats making all the hard decisions.

  

What sets you apart from the other candidates and/or previous office holders?      

We have not had a long-term member of the physician staff on the hospital board for over a generation and I am the only candidate to actually work and connect with patients on a personal level.

 

How much money do you expect your campaign to spend on this election?
