THIS CAMPAIGN:

What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

I want to continue to service my community. After 10 years in the Marines I still feel a strong commitment to my community.

What will be your top three priorities if you get elected and why?

1. Making government more open and transparent.

2. Protecting the current service levels with the potential costs of pending annexations.

3. The DT Library and the tax issues.

What sets you apart from the other candidates and/or previous office holders?

This is the first time I have ran for office public office.  I do not have ties to any of the inside Renton politics and would be a new and independent voice.  Also, as a second generation Cuban American, I would be the first Hispanic elected to the council (to my knowledge).

How much money do you expect your campaign to spend on this election?

$2,500 - $5,000
