Election Results Certified, Campaigns Kick Into High Gear
What races are you most concerned about in the November elections? Final primary results have been certified by local counties.
Expect the campaigning to ramp up for November elections now.
Final results from Washington’s Aug. 7 primary were posted and certified Tuesday in the King County. The Secretary of State has until Friday to certify results statewide.

The hottest issue in Renton — Proposition No. 1 — revolved around the location of the downtown Renton Library. The campaign garnered 76.4 percent (or 12,238 votes) in favor. The People for the Piazza Park Library campaign saw just 23.6 percent (or 3,781 votes) to move the library to the former Big 5 site, located West of the Piazza.
