Boeing, City Of Renton Celebrate 737 MAX

On Tuesday, Jan. 10, Boeing employees and City of Renton staff and Council Members celebrated the 737.

From Renton Mayor Denis Law:

"The City of Renton is thrilled to celebrate with The Boeing Company and its employees both the successful ramp up to date of the production of 737 NG planes, as well as the significant decision by Boeing to produce the 737 MAX in Renton.

Renton has been proud to support aviation innovation and excellence as a home of Boeing for 70 years. The City is demonstrating on a daily basis our commitment to making Renton the best place in the world to build airplanes.  We continue our efforts to ensure a seamless and speedy permitting process for the capital improvements to the Renton Plant to meet the company's production needs.  We congratulate Boeing, and its thousands of skilled workers, for this exciting moment in aviation history."
