'Tip A Cop" Tonight At Applebees for Special Olympics

Renton Police Officers on hand from 5-9 p.m.

The Renton Police Officers will trade in their handcuffs and badges for aprons at the Renton Applebees on South Grade Way and 40 other Applebee’s restaurants in Washington as part of a statewide “Tip-A-Cop” event with Special Olympics Washington. During the event, law enforcement will collect special tips from restaurant guests on September 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to benefit Special Olympics Washington.

“On behalf of Special Olympics Washington, we would like to thank local law enforcement and Applebee’s for their great support,” said Beth Wojick, CEO of Special Olympics Washington.  “Efforts like these make it possible for us to continue to provide our athletes with high-quality sports training programs and competition at no cost to them or their families.”
