Renton Police: Suspect Threatened Citizens who Reported Suspicious Activity with Knife

Renton Police arrested one suspect for felony investigation of harassment Monday night after they responded to a parking lot on the 400 block of Logan Avenue N at about 11:30 p.m. for a report five people appeared to be casing cars in the area.

Renton Police arrested one suspect for felony investigation of harassment Monday night after they responded to a parking lot on the 400 block of Logan Avenue N at about 11:30 p.m. for a report five people appeared to be casing cars in the area.

According to department spokesperson Terri Vickers, two people - the victims - called security to report them, prompting two of the suspects to approach them aggressively. One of the suspects had a knife.

A road block was a perimeter set up by responding officers so that a K9 unit could track the suspects. The individual with the knife was located and taken into custody.
