Renton Police Seek Information On Circle K Robbery

The suspect got away with less than $60.

Renton Police are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect who robbed the Circle K store at 2022 S Puget Drive on Monday, January 7 at 8:34 p.m. The suspect finished a cigarette before he entered the business, asked to use the bathroom, and then selected an item to purchase. He approached the counter as if to pay, then gestured like he had no money and said he would be right back. The suspect exited the store briefly before returning, claiming he had a gun under his shirt and demanding money.  The Circle K employee handed over the money from the register (less than $60) and the suspect fled northbound behind the store.

The suspect is described as a caucasian man in his mid 40s, standing 6-feet-tall with a thin build. He has short dark brown hair with gray in it and stubble facial hair. He was last seen wearing a long sleeved blue shirt, faded blue jeans and brown leather work boots.

If you recognize the suspect or have any information about this crime, please contact Detective Hansen at 425-430-7500 and reference case 13-245.
