ORIGINAL POST, MAY 12:

Police are asking for public help to identify the second suspect in a smoke shop robbery that happened on May 9. The store owner was robbed in his business and severely beaten by his assailants.

One man – Joel White – has already been arrested but his accomplice, a man named Christopher Lockett Jr. – remains at large.

In accompanying video footage, suspect White can be seen in the gray sweater and skullcap, and suspect Lockett Jr is wearing the darker blue sweat clothes. White and Lockett enter the business, talk with the victim (dressed in the red sweatshirt and ball cap), and then violently beat him with a stick, bottles from the store, and their fists and feet.

White was arrested on May 11 by Renton Police Detectives, but Lockett remains at large. Renton Police are urging anyone with knowledge of Lockett’s whereabouts to call 911; based on his actions, Lockett should be considered violent and dangerous.
