Renton Police Look Into One Vehicle Rollover

Pontiac Grand Am was traveling at a high rate of speed and rolled over, trapping three occupants.

Renton Police are investigating why a Pontiac Grand Am was traveling at a high rate of speed and rolled over, trapping three occupants Friday morning just before 10 a.m.

According to a Renton Police press release, both police and fire responded at 9:49 a.m. to a report of a one-vehicle collision with serious injuries that occurred in the parking lot of Skacel Collections, west of IKEA on SW 43rd Street. Renton Fire had to extricate all three from the vehicle.

All three subjects were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Police closed eastbound SW 43rd Street to continue their investigation into the cause of the accident. It was reopened just before 1 p.m.
