A Renton man missing since Tuesday evening hasn’t been heard from by his family, friends or employer.

Dayton Frazier, 22, was last seen around 10 p.m. December 18 wearing a black Northface jacket, blue jeans, white shoes and a backpack. He last contacted his girlfriend, Kelsey Samuels about a half hour later when he called from a pay phone and said he planned to kill himself, and then hung up.

Samuels filed a missing persons report with the Renton police department on Thursday, but said their response was a little disheartening.

“They just said let’s wait and see if he turns up,” she said.

Frazier hasn’t been to work at Europa Sports Products in SeaTac since Tuesday and didn’t pick up his paycheck on Friday.

“He’s really proud of his work, so that’s really unlike him,” she said.

Anyone who has seen or heard from Frazier is asked to call Kelsey Samuels at (425) 830-3016, his mother Karen Frazier (206) 841-1331, or the Renton Police Department at (425)-430-7500.
