Police Seek Witnesses To New Year's Eve Shooting

The Renton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating anyone who witnessed suspicious activity on New Year’s Eve in the area of Summerhill Apartments, located at 10415 S.E. 174th Street in Renton.

A 27-year old Everett man called 9-1-1 at about 7:45 p.m. stating he had been shot. Police later located the man lying in the grass outside the apartment complex. He suffered a bullet wound to the abdomenand is currently in the I.C.U. at Harborview in critical, but stable condition. The shooting victim told police that he had been robbed, and described the suspects as two African American men. Police have not released the name of the victim, or a description of the shooting suspects.

Police believe the victim may have driven into Summerhill from the 106th Place S.E. entrance.
