One Killed in One-Vehicle Collision on SR 167 South of Kent Saturday, Witnesses Sought

The Washington State Patrol is investigating a fatal collision involving a silver 2006 Scion TC which occurred just after 4:50 a.m. on Saturday, May 25.

The Scion was traveling northbound on State Route 167 near the 37th Street NW overpass when it lost control and collided with the guardrail. The vehicle then rolled over, leaving the roadway and falling into a grass ditch. The vehicle had one occupant who was fatally injured. He has been identified as 18-year-old Pavlo Myronets of Federal Way. The preliminary investigation showed the vehicle leaving several feet of skid marks before  leaving the roadway.

The Washington State Patrol is seeking witnesses to any events leading up to the collision or the actual crash. If you have any additional information or someone who does, please contact the  Washington State Patrol Detectives at 425-401-7719.
