Nelsen Locked Down After Citizen Reports Suspicious Person

Police searched the school but did not find any unauthorized visitors.

Renton's Nelsen Middle School went on lockdown Thursday after a citizen reported witnessing a man commit a crime and the run into the school.

The Renton Police Department responded to the school and worked with the district to lock down the campus during a search effort. Police were unable to locate the alleged burglar on school grounds and the lockdown was lifted.
