Renton Police Department say they've found a woman that was reported missing nearly two weeks ago.
Maria “Imelda” Villanueva was located by the Seattle Police Department at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at a shelter where she is currently staying. Her family has been notified of her location.
No additional information is available at this time.
Police reported the 49-year-old woman was last seen during the evening of Saturday, March 16, when she walked out of the apartment she shares with family at Wasatch Hills Apartments and failed to return that night. Police investigators have learned that Villanueva suffers from depression and is distraught over the recent death of a close relative. She has not been taking her medications prescribed for depression and other mental health issues.
