Masked Gunmen Rob Bank in Newcastle

The King County Sheriff's Office reports two masked suspects with guns robbed a Bank of America branch in Newcastle Monday afternoon and fled with an unknown amount of money.

The King County Sheriff's Office reports two masked suspects with guns robbed a Bank of America branch in Newcastle (6950 Coal Creek Parkway SE) Monday afternoon and fled with an unknown amount of money.

According to a press release, the men entered the bank at about 4:40 p.m. They were described as two black males dressed in dark clothing. At least one of the suspects ran east from the area.

Bellevue Police and a Renton K9 unit assisted Newcastle Police and King County deputies.

King County Detective Mike Mellis said, “These violent crimes are the most important cases to the Sheriff’s Office and the Safe Streets Task Force.”
