Man With "Shotgun And Paperwork" Allegedly Sighted At Valley Medical Center

Renton Police cleared the building, but were unable to locate the man or gun.

A second-hand report of a man carrying a shotgun and a stack of paperwork on the Valley Medical Center campus Tuesday afternoon drew a heavy response from the Renton Police Department. The special operations team also responded.

The report came in just after 3:15 p.m. from a physician assistant, according to Renton Police Spokesperson Terri Vickers.

But the original sighting was reported to the assistant by “someone else.” The original source of the sighting has not been determined.
