Man Shot In Foot In Renton Tavern

A Duvall man was shot in the foot last night in the 2400 block of Renton-Maple Valley Highway.

Renton Police Officers responded to Classics Sports Bar for a 'possible shooting' at 10:18 p.m., where they found the 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his foot.

"Witnesses at the scene reported that the victim had been inside the tavern, where he had spoken with two Asian males, described as “short” and in their early-20s," according to a statement from police.

Shortly after the Duvall man left the tavern with the two suspects, witnesses reported that the Asian men began firing a handgun at the victim while the trio were in the parking lot. The two suspects left in a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee with oversized chrome rims.

Police have no motive for the shooting, and the victims's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
