Man Accused Of Pushing Girlfriend Into Oncoming Traffic Remains In Jail On $1 Million Bail

Frederick Colvin is charged with Assault in the First Degree and Reckless Endangerment for allegedly pushing his girlfriend into traffic.

Charges of Assault in the First Degree and Reckless Endangerment have been filed against Frederick Colvin, 44, according to the King County Prosecutor.

Colvin is accused of pushing his girlfriend into oncoming traffic along Martin Luther King Jr. Way, near the intersection with 129th Street on October 29.

Officials have not released the name of the victim, 44-year-old woman, who suffered significant injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center that night after getting struck by an SUV. Police say the driver will not face charges.

Colvin’s arraignment is scheduled for November 20 at 8:30 a.m. at the King County Courthouse. The defendant remains in jail on $1 million bail.
