Jarod Lane Returns To Court Monday

Lane is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Jessica Scholl

Jarod Thomas Lane, 19, returns to King County Superior Court in Seattle on Monday, August 13. Lane pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and arson in the first degree during his arraignment hearing in June.

He is , in her home on May 25 and then setting the house on fire before fleeing to Oklahoma.

Lane was on May 28; extradited to Washington state; and booked into the King County Jail with bail set at $2 million.

A spokesperson for the King County Prosecutor's Office says another continuance is expected, though, with no new developments.
