Gunfire Breaks Up Party Near Kennydale Memorial Hall

Renton Police say no injuries were reported after an unknown suspect discharged a handgun Friday night outside a residence in Renton's Kennydale neighborhood.

Renton Police responded to a raucous party Friday night in the Kennydale neighborhood that reportedly broke up after an "illegal discharge of a gun".

Police say an unknown man fired handgun outside a residence Friday night at 11:22 p.m. on the 2700 block of Edmonds Ave. NE, near Kennydale Memorial Hall at 2424 NE 27th Street.

Renton Police reported that at least four shots were fired, but no injuries. A black male associated with the gunfire left the area in a dark colored sedan (no license plate number available).
