Four Injured in Monday Crash on Talbot Road South

King County paramedics rushed the driver of one of the cars to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Renton Fire and Emergency Services crews responded Monday afternoon to the intersection of Talbot Rd. S and Renton Center Way for a serious four-car accident, according to Renton Firefighters.

The accident at around 2 p.m. blocked all north bound traffic on Talbot Rd (SR515) for nearly an hour. Engine 14, Ladder 11 and King County One Medic 5 responded to the scene.

A total of four people were treated for injuries at the scene.

The driver of the most heavily damaged car was extricated from the car by firefighters and transported by Medic One with serious injuries. Another driver was transported by ambulance for non-traumatic medical reasons. Two others were treated at the scene and released. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation with further information available through Renton Police.
