Drowning Update: Victim Went Fishing, Left Life Jacket in Car

The mother and her eight-year-old daughter left their home at 4 a.m. Sunday morning to go fishing.

New information has been released regarding the Renton woman who accidentally drowned Sunday morning on a Grayland beach.

According to this report, two people on the beach found the body of Annie Y Banh about 9 a.m. washed up on shore, not far from where her eight-year-old daughter was waiting for her inside their car.

Apparently, Banh was surf fishing from shore. Officials say she could not swim, yet she left her life jacket behind when she fished on Sunday morning.
