Renton's Kit Danichek Earns 911 Dispatcher of the Year

Danichek is one of four to receive the award this year.

Valley Communications Center Dispatcher Kit Danichek of Renton was recently recognized by King County Executive Dow Constantine for her outstanding contributions to the community's health and safety and was named one of four King County Emergency Medical Dispatchers of the Year.

The awards recognize overall excellence and expert response to critical incidents, and they are given annually by Public Health - Seattle & King County's Emergency Medical Services Division during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, April 8-14, 2012.

"When someone calls 911 for help, it's the region's emergency medical dispatchers that consistently provide information and care that's needed," said Executive Constantine. "They all deserve our thanks for their calm and steady service, and this year's award winners deserve this special recognition."
