Sunset Neighborhood Association Picnic Is Wednesday Night

Eight neighborhood picnics remain this summer. Read below for the schedule!

Get to know your neighbors, improve the community and celebrate summer at your neighborhood picnic.

All events run from 5:30-7 p.m. and are sponsored by the City of Renton's Neighborhood Program. Residents should bring their favorite food to share with others and the Neighborhood Program will provide hot dogs. For more information about the picnic and service project program, call Norma McQuiller: (425) 430-6595 or Wendy Kirchner: (425) 430-6594.

This year's picnic schedule kicked off with a gathering of at least 150 neighbors at the South Renton Neighborhood picnic on June 27, which also drew Renton City Council members, half a dozen Renton Police bike officers and Renton Fire's ladder 11.
