Roxy Wants a Stage/Home of Her Own

Tuxedo cat looking for her forever home.

My name is Roxy and, yes, there are some people think I look like I am impersonating Elvis.

I am a 9 1/2 yrs old female cat with "tuxedo" markings, currently sheltered at the Purrfect Pals in PetSmart on Renton Landing. I like to sleep most of the time though the people here are taking me for walks in the store (they say I am a bit chunky) but I try to stay near the room.

I can be a bit grumpy but that is mostly because of all the other cats in the room. My previous family had to move and they were not able to take me with them.

When I feel safe and comfortable I do enjoy sleeping with my people. I do have some limits though, personal space and all, please don't make a habit of petting my tummy. I am current on all my shots and was tested for all sorts of yucky stuff.

When I first came to be at Purrfect Pals I was not eating well and lost a lot of wait quickly.

The wait loss was a bit of concern so I need to be careful about my weight loss, it needs to be under the supervision of medical staff. Other than that I am a very healthy girl. I would love to have my forever home soon.

Come meet me at the Renton Landing Petsmart. Purrfect Pals is a nonprofit, no-kill cat shelter and sanctuary committed to rescuing and placing cats and kittens in loving, responsible homes. Purrfect Pals saves the lives of more than 2,500 homeless cats each year.

In addition to adopting cats through PetSmart and our other partner store's adoption centers, we help place special needs cats and provide a comfortable long-term sanctuary for cats diagnosed with Feline leukemia and FIV positive cats.

We also offer low cost spays/neuters for cats to low income individuals and families. Purrfect Pals does not allow "gift" adoptions. All cats (with the exception of "barn cats" adopted from our shelter in Arlington) must be indoor-only.

If you rent your home, please come prepared with a copy of your lease or other documentation that states your landlord allows pets. For more information regarding Purrfect Pals and our available rescued kitties, visit us online at www.purrfectpals.org.
