Community Corner

Antonio's Alex's Lemonade Stand

We will be hosting our 4th Antonio's Alex's Lemonade Stand on Sunday June 12, 2011.

We will be handing out lemonade for donations. Clowns, face painting. An apearance from the Renton Fire Department,  free give aways, raffles and more. We will also have a blood drive for those who would like to donate blood.

The Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money for childhood cancer research.  This event is in honor of Antonio Gonzales-Pebworth of Renton who in 2004 was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer.  He has been in remission for 6 years.   The Alex's lemonade stand foundation is a great organization that allows us to get our community together to try and raise money for childhood cancer research, which is greatly underfunded, but still lets us have fun while doing it:)
