Located in the Capitol Hill Urban Center, WOB Capitol Hill will boast over 400 bottles of beer and 50 rotating taps. A 300 sq ft patio compliments the 2,600 sq ft tavern, which is open daily from 11:30am – 2am, with Tavern Fare served all day long. This location is proud to partner withmany local breweries, Two Beers, Odin, Black Raven, Elysian, Airways, and Strong Arm. A Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Monday, November 25th, 2013 from 12pm – 1am, featuring live entertainment, raffles, and giveaways, with proceeds going to benefit the Capitol Hill Housing Foundation.

“We are so excited to bring World of Beer to Capitol Hill,” said Lisa Weatherston, Vice President of Marketing & New Store Development at RKE Franchising. “With our help from our friendly and knowledgeable staff, we invite everyone to come choose from over 400 bottles and 50 rotating drafts of great craft beer, craft spirits and cocktails and amazing tavern fare!”

The Tavern Fare complements the quality of craft beer and starts with classic comfort foods, combining them with traditional bar offerings and a contemporary spin. It features craft beer-infused appetizers and options like Gluten-Free Baked Crab Cakes and salad selections. These lighter options are accompanied by hearty favorites like WOB’s Signature German Pretzel, Classic Reuben Sandwich and Flatbreads.

The handcrafted cocktails include craft-inspired creations like the Hoti Mojito, MargarIPA and Gin N Jam. Each cocktail is unique to World of Beer and showcases the WOB culture by including craft beer in the cocktails themselves. In keeping with their founding philosophy, World of Beer is partnering with local distilleries to supply the handcrafted spirits to WOB Capitol Hill.

“World of Beer is so pleased to open another location in Washington, a state that is rich in craft beer culture,” said World of Beer CEO Paul Avery. “We look forward to becoming a part of that culture and complementing it with our craft beer knowledge, local brews and global offerings.”

WOB Capitol Hill will host a Loyalty Night each week in which Loyalty Club members receive 25% off all bottles with their loyalty card. In addition to the weekly events, World of Beer hosts monthly brewery nights and spotlights, tap takeovers and beer-centric events celebrating the flavors of the season.

It can be said that the ‘WOB Culture’ is unlike any other. The specially-trained staff has completed an intensive, two-week beer school, and is on-hand to guide customers through the World of Beer experience, centered around a global menu of beverages, live music and televised sports.

WOB steadily rewards its customers by offering a Loyalty Club Program that enables them to earn points by

trying different beers. Guests earn one point for every different beer purchased at WOB, gaining them access, appreciation and rewards that only WOB can offer. The program is available to all guests, and is easily accessible through the Industry Leading WOB app (available for iPhone and Android smartphones). It's WOB culture in the palm of your hand.
