TAF Academy Science Fair 2014

The innovative and creative work of young, promising
scientists will be on display at the annual Technology Access Foundation (TAF)
Academy Science Fair on Sat. Feb. 1. The Academy is a co-partnership between Federal
Way Public Schools and TAF, a Seattle nonprofit. TAF offers its programs to
children in diverse neighborhoods, to equip students of color for success in
college and life through the power of STEM (science, technology, engineering
and math) education. The TAF Foundation is a 2012 winner of the national
Schools of Distinction competition for its middle school math instruction
program. This year’s fair is possible thanks to generous donations from Google.
