John and Sherry will share some tips and advice on Do-It-Yourself projects that came out of their own home renovations, mistakes and all. Armed with a little bit of know-how and a lot of enthusiasm, they put their creative, common-sense spin on how to make the most of home projects of all sizes.

With millions of unique visitors, “Young House Love” grew from a little blog created to track the progress of the Petersik’s kitchen remodel for friends and family. After nearly five years of putting daily (and twice-daily) posts out there, it grew from a passion and a hobby into an actual job.

Some of the most popular projects include making no-sew curtains, painting kitchen cabinets and refinishing furniture. Other quick tips for the allusion of space and drama include painting a brick fireplace, going bold with built-ins and even raising the shower curtain height.
