  • Why Go: Come celebrate Oktoberfest this Friday at the Whistle Stop Ale House. Bring you lederhosen's and enjoy the polka music, bratwursts and of course, plenty of beer!

  • Why Go: Looking for a way to kick start your weekend? You may want to check out Liberty Cafe this Friday night. On the first Friday of every month Liberty Cafe turns into one big party with live music, wine, beer, food, and more!
  • Cost: No cover.

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sat, Oct 8 at Piazza Renton.
  • Why Go: Help celebrate the fall harvest this Saturday at the Fall Harvest Festival. The festival will feature vendors, food, entertainment, local business booths and more.
  • Cost: Admission is free.


  • Where/When: 7:30 p.m. Fri., Oct. 7 at .
  • Why Go: The Mercer Island Arts Council's "Classics on Film" is back. This time, the popular film series delves into the interconnectedness and isolation of people, places, and things through a five part documentary film series titled, "Economies of Scale". The series kicks things off this Friday with The One Percent, a documentary by Jamie Johnson that provides rare insights into attitudes of people born into extreme privilege. 
  • Cost: Admission is free.

 

  • Where/When: 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 7 at .
  • Why Go: Take an in depth look into our universe during a free showing of "Stars" at the Willard Geer Planetarium at Bellevue College. After the show stay to take a brief tour of the night sky using the state-of-the-art Digistar 3 planetarium projector.  Shows start at 7:30 and 8:30 PM and will last approximately 35-40 minutes.
