  • Why Go: Come check out the brand new exhibit, Voices of the Duwamish Tribe at the Renton History Museum this weekend. The exhibit features an inspiring collection of photographs by local photographer Joanne Petrina. If you're too busy playing in the sun this weekend (Renton's weather forecast is looking nice!), be sure to check out the exhibit's on Tuesday, June 14 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Pricing: Suggested donations: $3 for adults and $1 for children.

 

  • Where/When: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. Sat, June 11 at .
  • Why Go: Come out to Applebee's this Saturday morning for a tasty breakfast and a great cause. All the profits from the breakfast will go to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money for childhood cancer research.
  • Pricing: $10 per ticket. Ticket includes- short stack, scrambled eggs, bacon, juice and coffee.

 

  • Where/When: Sunday, June 12 from noon to 4 p.m. off Talbot Road in the parking lot adjacent to the Talbot Professional Center at 4011 Talbot Road South. 
  • Why Go: Treat yourself and your family to fresh produce and learn about healthy eating.
  • Pricing: The market and parking are free, but you'll have to pay for your produce! Living a healthier lifestyle? Priceless . . .

  • Why Go: The Renton City Band is back at the Carco Theatre for their Summer Concert this Sunday. The RCCB always puts on a great show and Sunday should be no different. Can't wait tell Sunday? Check out this Youtube clip of the RCCB in action.
