- Where/When: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Sat, July 9 at the .
- Why Go: If you haven't seen the new art exhibit at the Carco Theatre, this Saturday will be the perfect time to check it out. Local water color artist Deborah Haggmann will be on site to meet and to answer any questions you may have about her stunning collection.
- Cost: Free.

- Where/When: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Sat, July 9 at The Landing in Renton.
- Why Go: Looking for free live jazz this weekend? You're in luck, Jazz in July is coming to The Landing every Saturday evening this month. Local favorites, the Brooks Giles Band will be the featured musician this Saturday. Never heard of them? This YouTube clip of the band in action should give you an idea of what you're in for.
- Cost: Free.
- Where/When: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sun, July 10 at Piazza Park.
- Why Go: This is the 21st year of the annual Return to Renton Car Show and it's shaping out to be the best one yet. The show will feature cars, trucks, and bikes of all makes and models, as well as vendors and on site entertainment. Stick around after the show and for the trophy presentations and see if your favorites made an impression on the judges.
- Cost: Admission is free.
- Where/When: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday at the Puyallup Fair Grounds.
- Why Go: The world’s largest pet and pet product expo. Expect over a thousand animals including dogs, cats, equine, birds, fish, llamas, pot bellied pigs, goats, rats, reptiles, rabbits, miniature horses and more are on display in stage shows, competitions & demonstrations. Thousands of pet products for sale at special show prices. Plenty of animal experts, pet adoptions, hands-on petting and learning opportunities. Everything you need to know for a happier, healthier pet.
- Cost: General Admission: $12, Seniors: $10, Children 6 - 12: $6, Children 5 and younger: Free, Active Military (Valid ID): Free.
- Where/When: 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Fri, June 8 at the Luther Burbank Park Amphitheater in Mercer Island.
- Why Go: This weekend may be a little too nice to do anything in doors. So get to Mercer Island this Friday evening for a little Shakespeare in the Park. Enjoy the outdoor venue as the Wooden-O Theater Company brings Shakespeare's classic, The Comedy of Errors to life.
- Cost: Free.
