  • Why Go: Help celebrate Maya's second year at Southport this Friday evening with good spirits and cheer. Enjoy tasty snacks, beverages and music while they showcase the art work of Melanie Cates & OritTepper. You could even win a prize or two! Maya's will also be launching their Mat Drive for Street Yoga at this event. If you have a Yoga mat that you are ready to pass along, please bring it to donate.

  • Why Go: Feeling Crafty or need something to do this Saturday?  Stop by Creative Mom Toys and get your craft on. They'll be making Wind-up Animals!

  • Why Go: Vivian and Phil Williams present tunes played, danced to and sung during the Civil War, along with accounts of musical performances from Civil War diaries and memoirs, stories about the tunes, and descriptions of the dances done to the tunes. The program is based on historical research over the past several years. The music is played on instruments from the era, including the fiddle, guitar and banjo.

  • Why Go: Join Vino at The Landing every Saturday night from 8-11 p.m. for a relaxing evening of wine and live music. This week, enjoy the Spanish guitar virtuoso sounds of Andre Feriante.

  • Why Go: Bank of America is helping its customers celebrate the new year through Museums on Us, giving bank cardholders free admission to the Northwest African American Museum, the Seattle Art Museum and the Tacoma Art Museum.
