• Why Go: Jazz up your Friday night with Mike Simpson and Friends at Luther’s Table. Mike Simpson has been a great jazz fixture in the Renton music community, and he's bringing in a great pile of friends for a night of jazz, jams, and great times.

• Get a jump start on that holiday shopping and buy local at this Holiday Trunk Show. Featured local business include: Lisa Boyce Jewelry, Steve's Sawdust Factory, Thirty-One, MamaLuvs, Sew Worthy, Lemondrop, My Mama's Love, Nonny Baby, Restoration House Interiors, Cedar River Cellars, and Block Talk by Kim.

• 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sat, Nov. 12 at the Salvation Army Church in Renton.

• Why Go: Join the Salvation Army this Saturday for their Holiday Bazaar featuring homemade items like jewelery, wood crafts, scarf's, blankets, tasty treats and more. The Bazaar will have a snack bar with chili, hot dogs and more.
• Free. non-perishable food donations will be gladly accepted.

• Robert Morrison, owner of Lee's Martial Arts in Renton and Maple Valley, sustained a torn Achilles tendonon on Oct. 12 which resulted in emergency surgery. This injury will not only put him out of commission for about 6 months. Not being on his feet effects not only his spirit but also his livelihood, but also comes at a time when he had a lapse in insurance.
• Proceeds of all beer/well drink sales will be donated to help cover Robert's medical bills.

Veteran’s Day Fundraiser for Amy (Bradley) Lundquest & Family

• Dino's Pub on Sat., Nov. 12 from noon-6p.m.
• In honor of Veteran’s Day, a fundraiser is taking place to support Renton-native, former Marine, and current Active Duty member of the Army National Guard, Amy (Bradley) Lundquest, and her family. Dino’s is serving as a gathering place for Amy's friends to drop off donations and messages of encouragement to be delivered to her the following week.
