Valley Medical Center Expands Cancer Services
Valley Medical Center and Southlake Clinic collaborate to open Valley Oncology and Hematology Clinic, make enhancements to Infusion Center
In collaboration with Southlake Clinic, Valley Medical Center (VMC) is proud to announce the expansion of its oncology program with the enhancement of its Infusion Center and the addition of a new clinic, Valley Oncology and Hematology Clinic.
The new clinic and newly renovated and enhanced Valley Medical Center Infusion Center will open on Monday, April 18, and is expected to improve the integration of hospital and physician medical oncology services.
“We are very excited to offer a tranquil setting and amenities to enrich our patients’ experience and aid in the healing process,” said Karen Irish, Administrative Director, Valley Medical Center Cancer Services. “Increased privacy, warmed blankets, soothing music, room service meals, internet access, free valet or reserved patient self-parking near the main entrance, and expanded hours are just a few of the enhancements now available to our Infusion Center patients.”

Patients will be able to maintain medical relationships with their existing physicians and will see many of the same faces at the new Valley Oncology and Hematology Clinic and at the Infusion Center as they did when they visited the Southlake Oncology Clinic. For patients’ convenience, free shuttle service will now be available between the new clinic, (located at the same office in Valley Professional Center North) and the Infusion Center (located in the hospital on the main lobby level).
