His advice: Consult the SIFF Guide and review the Pathway Groupings.

The Pathway Groupings take the guesswork out of deciding which category a film falls under.

“Instead of using traditional categories, which require a bit of guess work to figure out, we’ve aimed to connect films with you, the audience, by organizing them into 10 areas that help answer the question ‘What sort of film do I feel like seeing tonight?’,” according to page 3 of the SIFF Guide.

Tickets will be available at the SIFF-Renton Box Office at the beginning on Thursday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and approximately one hour before the start of each show. Call (425) 204-2409 for more information.

Volunteers are also needed for the event. There will be a volunteer meeting on Wednesday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Renton , 400 South Second Street. Visit siff.net, email arts@rentonwa.gove, or call (425) 430-6589 for more information.

SIFF will show 19 films in Renton from May 18-24. Patch will post the movie listings each day.
