Renton IKEA Leaks 'Coffee Ambush' Plans

Want free coffee? Local IKEA reps promise to 'ambush' commuters waiting for the 7:24 a.m. Sounder Train at Kent Station on Tuesday, Aug. 23

Kent Station commuters will get a surprise as big as, well, an store.

On Tuesday morning the Sweden-based company and its employees have announced its plan to 'ambush' Sounder Train commuters with free coffee and reading material.

The reading material, we should say, is the store's 2012 catalogue.

A press release from the company suggests this may not be the last 'ambush' of its kind in the area.

Do you ride the Sounder Train to work? Snap a few shots of the ambush and send to jenny.manning@patch.com and I'll post the photographic proof on Patch.
