Community Snapshot: World of Beer Hosts Grand Opening, Renton Fire Fundraiser

Hundred of brew enthusiasts cheered the grand opening of World of Beer, Monday.

Following months of anticipation, the World of Beer opened it's newest location at The Landing in Renton.

Opening day included live music, raffle prizes and more sunshine than the Pacific Northwest has seen all year.

Quickly becoming part of the North Renton community, World of Beer partnered with the Renton Firefighters Benevolent Association for a fundraiser raffle.

Less than a week after opening, the business already has nearly 850 Facebook fans, where they posted this message:

"Thank you all SO much for coming out and enjoying our GRAND OPENING of World of Beer RENTON!
We raised $1100 for the Renton Fire Department and $200 for Sunni Rudd!
Beer was flowing, the Clinton Ellison Experience was jammin' and people were having a BLAST! 
We look forward to being a part of the Renton community and thank you again!

CHEERS!"

The shop boasts more than 500 bottled beers and 50 rotating taps and allows its customers to order take-out from local eateries including Five Guys, Vino, Gyros House, Jimmy John's, Fresh Way and The Rock.
