Boeing Technical Workers' Contract Ballots Being Counted Monday Night
The company calls on the 7,400 technical emloyees to "come together and focus on the challenges" Boeing faces as the union counts ballots in the second vote on a four-year contract.
The vote by 7,400 Boeing technical workers on a four-year contract already rejected once will be counted by their union Monday night, with the company urging workers “to come together and focus on the challenges facing the company.”

In an Associated Press report posted on KIRO News, the company was quoted as telling the technical workers: "It is time for all of us to come together and focus on the challenges facing the company.”
The SPEEA bargaining unit is making no recommendation on the offer, Boeing’s “best and final,” but has told the technical workers another rejection would likely mean a strike.
Many of the technical employees work at Boeing's Renton and Everett facilities.
