Spring Festival, Poker Run Are All Part of Patch Pick's For Weekend Fun

  • Why Go: Start the weekend off right by tasting some fantastic wines at Vino. They'll be pouring three different wines from a local Renton winery,Ceder River Cellars. Winermaker, Micah Nasarow will also be on site to answer any questions you may have about this great local wine.
  • Price: $10 tasting fee.

  • Where/When: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sat, May 7 in Piazza Park.
  • Why Go: Come out and explore downtown Renton like you've never seen it before. There will be an arts and crafts, music, food, and about 60 vendors selling various hand-crafted items, books, children's items, clothing, and jewelry and more. It's fun for the whole family!
  • Pricing: Admission is free.

  • Where/When: 9:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sat, May 7 in the North parking lot of .
  • Why Go: If your household recently went through its annual spring cleaning marathon, this event might be just what you need to finally get the junk out the door. Load up all the items that the trashman wouldn't haul away and bring it to Renton Technical College for a safe and clean disposal.

  • Where/When: 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. Sat, May 7 in downtown Renton.
  • Why Go:  If you're planning on going to the Spring Festival, be sure to come test you luck at the Downtown Renton Poker Tour. There are 41 business participating, just visit one of the stores, collect a card, and repeat until you have a solid poker hand. Prizes will be awareded to the best hand as well as an overall prize pool. Anyone can win, no poker experience necessary!
  • Price: Suggested donation of 1 dollar or canned food.

  • Where/When: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Fri, May 6 at Lakeside Bistro
  • Why Go: This might be the best "date night" around for you and that special someone. Enjoy a lovely evening filled with great food and great music. Phil Westbrook is one of those rare entertainers/musicians that can make your night out a special and memorable occasion.
